Client in the spotlight - Tiger Recruitment

Office Freedom continue to innovate the way businesses search for flexible workspaces. Every month, we shine the spotlight on some of the companies we’ve helped find the perfect office. This month, we are focusing on Tiger Recruitment, who specialise in matching exceptional support staff with top businesses and private individuals around the world.

Headquartered in London, Tiger Recruitment recruits for a wide range of roles including personal assistants, executive assistants, secretaries, administrators and many more. Their consultants work with high-calibre individuals and offer tailored solutions to their clients.

Kirstie McLaren contacted Office Freedom in April 2019 looking for an office space for their growing team. With the help of Office Freedom’s Senior Account Director, Bob Toor, Tiger Recruitment found their perfect flexible workspace in Liverpool Street.

We caught up Kirstie to find out how their team is settling into their new space.

Why did Tiger Recruitment decide to search for a new HQ in 2019?

We actually haven’t relocated – in fact, we’re just down the road to where we were before! It’s perfect for us as we have an established client base in and around Liverpool Street and Shoreditch, so we needed to stay in the area. It’s also easily accessible for our candidates, as they travel to the building to register with us in person.

How do you find the area?

We love this area. We’re close to our clients and there are lots of businesses, shops and offices nearby. This makes the vibe around our office buzzy and professional, allowing us fantastic opportunities for networking with our clients and candidates.

You worked closely with Bob Toor to find your new office – How did you find the experience?

Bob was absolutely fantastic! He listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered accordingly. Within two days of initially contacting him, we had meetings booked to discuss our specifications. Throughout the process, we saw a couple of other offices and when we voiced our opinions on the things we didn’t like, he tailored his search. Throughout this process, he took the time to really understand what we needed. He was professional, polite, proactive and efficient. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

 

What are the best features you and your team love about this space?

The new space is in a great location with much better amenities than our previous building. The staff are always professional and helpful, the building is clean and the space around our office is lovely and quiet. We also love the communal areas and the rooftop garden; having these spaces gives us options for holding events and offers a great environment in which to interview our candidates. Our physical environment reflects our business’ brand, so it’s essential that it’s in line with our level of professionalism.

What’s next for Tiger Recruitment? Is there anything exciting in the pipeline?

There’s a lot happening for Tiger! Next year we’re looking forward to opening our first New York office, which is a hugely exciting project. Thereafter, who knows?

What is the best place for?

  • Coffee with a client – the Ivy - it has a nice vibe with good food and beverage options
  • Lunch with a friend – Spitalfields Markets
  • A spot of shopping –Probably Spitalfields again - it has great market stalls
  • Drinks with co-workers – the Alchemist underneath our building, or The Sterling underneath the Gherkin
  • Best spot for downtime – Honestly, the rooftop of our building is a really nice place to relax!
