Search Office Space Team Completes British 10k London Run!
On Sunday, the Search Office Space team completed the British 10k London Run, in Central London.
Passing some of London's most iconic landmarks - including St. James's Palace, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral, Parliament, and Westminster Abbey - the team completed the route in impressive time.
Running in support of The Michael Green Foundation, the team raised £4,000 for the cause. Donations came thick and fast from businesses, friends, and family - to all of whom the team and the foundation are tremendously grateful.
The Michael Green Foundations was established in memory of its namesake - Michael Green - who was sadly lost to a heart attack due to Type 2 Diabetes in December 2012, aged just 53. Known by all as a wonderful mountain of a man, it is Michael's positive outlook and love of life that spurred on the establishment of the foundation and, in turn, the overwhelming support given by friends, family, and co-workers of his.
Proceeds from the British 10K London Run were donated to The Michael Clements Research Centre at Watford General, who will be able to purchase life-saving equipment for diabetes sufferers. Sugar Free, a charity that raises awareness and provides support for those living with diabetes.
Having powered through the intense July heat, the team completed the run tired, dehydrated, and full of smiles. Everyone is immensely proud of their effort, and the contribution they (and you) have made to saving lives.
