Bucharest is the capital city and the cultural, industrial, and financial hub of Romania. It is located between Transylvania’s Carpathian Mountains and the Black Sea. Transport Information

Most international flights in and out of Bucharest use the Henri Coanda Airport. Romania’s national airline is Tarom (Transporturile Aeriene Române). The Drum Judetean offers a selection of county routes. Bucharest has an extensive public transport system. The metro has four lines (M1, M2, M3, M4) and covers the city quite extensively.
