The capital city of Spain and also its largest, Madrid is located on the Manzanares River in the centre of both the country and the Community of Madrid. Sula is another great option, featuring a tapas bar, restaurant, and gourmet food store.

The nearest major airport is Madrid-Cuatro Vientos Airport. This airport operates international flights and is just 18 km (11 miles) from the city centre. Another major airport is Madrid-Barajas Airport, which provides further international and domestic flights and is 21 km (13 miles) from central Madrid. There is a very well developed network of public transport within the city and Madrid is one of the world’s largest high-speed railway hubs with connections to the rest of Europe.
