Dubai Internet City was created by the government of Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates. It is a free economic zone and an information technology park, which provides companies with ownership and taxation benefits, guaranteed for a period of fifty years. These freedoms have attracted over eight hundred and fifty information technology firms to the area, employing more than ten thousand workers. Dubai Internet City is located 25 km (16 miles) south of downtown Dubai, one kilometre from the coast, and is adjacent to Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach, and the Palm Jumeirah.

Transport Information

Dubai Internet City Metro Station is a stop on the Red Line dedicated to the district. The Dubai Airport is easily accessible using this Metro Line. Public buses are accessible at the BBC World News, Tecom Saleh Bin Lahej Building, Tecom Minc Appartments and The Greens Al Sidir bus stops. Taxis are readily available in Dubai Internet City and Sheikh Zayed Road is an easily accessible auto route for drivers.
