Chingford is located to the south of Epping Forest, famous for housing a deer hunting lodge belonging to Queen Elizabeth and used by King Henry VIII in the 15th century. Historically known as a rural parish of Essex, in modern years it may be better known as the town where England footballer David Beckham spent his childhood.
