Chalk Farm has become the night-life hub for places like Primrose Hill and other nearby neighbourhoods. The area has some excellent shopping facilities alongside nearby attractions such as the British Library, the John Ritblat Gallery and the Hampstead Museum.

Eateries are abundant in Chalk Farm and you can sample all sorts of cuisine, from Northern European at the Belgo Noord to Thai at the Muang Thai, with Made in Camden at the Roundhouse serving a seasonal selection for the adventurous. For traditional British dishes you can head to The Hill Bar & Brassiere while Russian cooking can be sampled at the Trojka.
