Stockton-on-Tees is a small town with a weekly market, and is situated between the counties of Durham and North Yorkshire. The administrative centre of the borough of the same name, the town is positioned on the River Tees and, like most of the region, has a rich industrial history. Transport Information

Travelling around the town is made easier thanks to a good network of arterial roads while the A66 and A19 connect Stockton-on-Tees to areas like Middlesbrough and Darlington. In addition to these roads, drivers, buses, taxis and coach services also use the A1027, which runs right through the town. Durham Tees Valley Airport is the closest international airport in the area while Stockton Railway Station lies on the Durham Coast Line, connecting it to Sunderland and London.
