Charlotte Street is located in the Fitzrovia district of London, in the borough of Camden. The area has a unique blend of residential and commercial occupants. It is often the case that the residential population will reside in the upper floors of beautiful townhouses, while the ground floors will be occupied by various businesses. The street was developed in the latter part of the 18th century and was named after Queen Charlotte, the wife of King George the Third. At the time, three streets in the locality were named after the Queen, but only one has retained its original name to this day.

Business Information

The northern half of Charlotte Street houses several office buildings that have many serviced offices for rent. Leading advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi occupies an entire office building in the vicinity. On the other hand, the southern part of the street is home to a medley of different retail businesses such as bars, pubs, boutiques, florists, and art galleries.

Entertainment And Dining Out

Offering live entertainment shows throughout the week, Charlotte Street Blues is spread over three floors. It offers an eclectic mix of solo musicians, jazz groups, as well as rock bands to keep you entertained for hours on end. The street is also home to fantastic comedy clubs that are guaranteed to have you in stitches. Many consider Charlotte Street to have the best and most diverse selection of restaurants in London. Whether you have a highly discerning palate and are seeking exotic international cuisine, or you are in the mood for some tasty, traditional delights – you will not be disappointed by the enormous choice on offer.
