A small village in the county of Oxfordshire, Chinnor lies just below the Chiltern slopes and has been a major centre for artists in years gone by. Mainly a residential area for people who work in the nearby town of Thame, as well as London and Aylesbury, Chinnor hosts a number of festivities including an annual beer festival that brings in plenty of people during the summer months. Chinnor is connected to the Chiltern Main Line via Chinnor Railway Station. This allows commuters to get to Thame and even London with ease and convenience. The B4009 runs right through the area, connecting the village to the A4129, A40 and A4010. The M40 also runs close to the village while London Heathrow Airport provides the nearest link to national and international air transport.
