Situated on the southwest coastline of England along the English Channel, the county of Dorset is mainly rural with areas of incredible natural beauty such as limestone cliffs. Transport Information

Dorset has two major railway lines running through its boundaries, with the main stations at Bournemouth, Poole and Weymouth. Stour Valley, Dorset Junction and Salisbury are also major stops along these two train lines. Dorset doesn’t have any major motorways but two trunk roads and a network of inner roads make it convenient for buses, coaches and taxis to provide efficient public transportation. Bournemouth International Airport operates flights to numerous European destinations and Poole and Weymouth boast sea-ports that offer commercial ferry services to the continent.
