Rogers Park is a neighborhood area in the Far North Side of Chicago, Illinois. The area is defined by Juneway Terrace, Howard Street, Ridge Boulevard, Devon Avenue, the Edgewater neighborhood, and Lake Michigan. In Rogers Park the historical landmarks include the Madonna Della Strada Chapel, which is the mother church of the Jesuit Province of Chicago. The historic Rogers Park Baptist Church was founded in 1891, and is still being used for services today. Emil Bach House is one of two homes built by Frank Lloyd Wright in Rogers Park, and the only one still standing. For a certified kosher and vegan friendly dining experience, try Hamachi Sushi Bar. Transport Information

The city has plentiful public transport including metro, bus and train services as well as trolleys and ferries. Chicago’s Union Station is a major hub in Amtrak’s Midwestern rail network, making Chicago one of the most convenient U.S. cities to visit by train. In Roger’s Park the CTA’s Howard-Dan Ryan line stops at Howard, Jarvis, Morse, and Loyola. The Metra commuter train stops Ravenswood Avenue. The nearest airport is Chicago Midway International Airport located 9 miles from central Chicago. Further flights are provided by Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
