Apple lease more office space in California

It was recently announced that Apple Inc has found new office space close by to its current headquarters in California.

The new business centre located in the Results Way Corporate Centre comprises of 373, 000 sq ft of office space and will house an additional 1, 300 Apple employees. However, the new building is only a temporary solution until Apple gets approval to begin work on a new campus which is expected to house up to12, 000 employees.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs said: "Apple's growing like a weed," and many Apple employees are housed in small buildings surrounding the head quarters that are not very good. Jobs goes on to say: "We've seen these office parks with lots of buildings and they get pretty boring pretty fast, so we'd like to do something better than that."

The new Apple office space is expected to be complete in 2015.
