BNP Paribas signs partnership to increase Czech services

BNP Paribas Real Estate, the UK-based property firm, has signed a deal with real estate consultancy firm Professionals s.r.o to increase its range of services on offer in the Czech Republic, representatives have confirmed.

The partnership will see Professionals support BNP Paribas in a range of areas, including transaction, valuation and consulting services across the office, retail, industrial and residential real estate markets.

Professionals was established in the Czech capital, Prague, in 1993, as one of the first real estate companies to open in the wake of the Czechoslovakian split. It now employs 20 people and has risen quickly into the top 10 real estate companies in the country.

Nicolas Barbey, director of the international management team at BNP Paribas Real Estate, sees the partnership with Professionals as the final piece of the puzzle to complete a comprehensive range of services in the Eastern European centre.

He said: “"Thanks to the requirements of our international and national clients, we decided to expand our reach in the Czech real estate market.

“As BNP Paribas Real Estate is directly present in Czech Republic through its Property Management activity, this alliance with Professionals in Transaction services now perfectly completes our client offer in this country".

BNP Paribas Real Estate now boasts a global presence across 16 countries, employing over 3,400 people. Partnerships have given the country access to markets in 20 further countries, with an additional 3,000 staff to help manage their portfolio and provide services for clients.
