Business Centres of the Month: Hyde Park House

Search Office Space has had some fantastic business centres win our award so far this year, and October is no different, with Hyde Park House, in Cheshire, taking the crown from Lyric Square. We have really been looking for a centre which stands out for doing something unique for their tenants, and Hyde Park House’s initiatives for new start-ups caught our eye. Find out more below!

Having taken on Holly Hulston as Business Centre Manager in March 2014, the business centre has come a long way since. Refurbishments have included completely revamping their meeting rooms, facilities and adding state-of-the-art video conferencing and telephony systems throughout the centre.

The team are also proud of their onsite ‘Costa style’ coffee lounge, providing a convenient and comfortable place for tenants to utilise for meetings, meals or snacks throughout the working day.

Going the extra mile, the centre’s services include laundry services, car valeting, key cutting and flower delivery at their tenant’s convenience. They have seen great popularity in the services over the last six months so hope to continue and grow this channel.

The biggest opportunity which Hyde Park House offers, though, is a solution for brand new start-up companies called the ‘E-space Pod’. To offer an affordable alternative to working from home, Holly and the team have taken an office and split it into sections to offer each company a desk, chair and lockable storage. They have seen at least 5 companies grow and expand within the centre after use of this service as it is the perfect medium from virtual offices to larger office space take-up.

One tenant commented on the initiative, “Hyde Park House is the ideal environment in which to grow a business. The business centre staff are very professional and give a great impression to any visiting clients. Best of all, as our business grows it’s very easy for us to upgrade to more space.”

The option is great as it allows businesses to expand and easily attain more space in the same location, have a professional image and network with other businesses, all in one place. And, seeing as the initiative has been so successful, the centre hope to extend this into more of their office space.


The testimonials on the website highlight the great work Hyde Park House are doing. Comments include, “When looking to relocate our office, we viewed a range of properties but Hyde Park House stood head and shoulders above the rest – both for the facilities available and the professionalism with which our endless questions were handled.”

It’s great to see that the centre has developed its style, layout and reputation on embracing the change in working styles to accommodate those starting businesses.
