Citigroup search for more office space in Dublin

The Irish Times.com announced today that the financial services group. Citigroup are searching for more office space in Dublin.

The company which already have offices at North Wall Quay in the International Financial Services Centre aim to create a further 250 jobs by renting out another 100, 000 sq ft of space, bringing their Dublin workforce to approximately 2, 500.

There has been an increase in office space enquiries for Dublin’s city centre and in the first quarter of 2011, over 550, 000 sq ft of office space was let. This includes the 200, 000 sq ft of space Google took at Dublin’s chic Montevetro building. The Irish Times goes on to report that ‘overall lettings in the city this year are expected to reach 1.5- 1.6 million sq ft.’
