Glasgow’s Spectrum Building due to commence redevelopment

spectrum buildingThe Spectrum Building in Glasgow, , is due to commence a major redevelopment project and has led to Orchard Street Investment Management renewing leases on over 40,000 square feet of .

The third floor of the building has been snapped up by debt recovery agency, Scotcall, who have renewed their lease for over 9,450 square feet of space. The seventh floor is leased to Giles Insurance Brokers, who have also renewed their lease for 9,255 square feet of Glasgow office space. Both companies have renewed for a further 10 years at £19.50 per square foot.

Hogg, international travel services company, claim 9.300 square feet of the sixth floor, and have also renewed their space right up until 2018. Companies Mortgages and Soccer First have extended their leases and another floor is currently under offer.

The building is just a short distance from the motorway, in the heart of Glasgow, and is facilitated by the M8 and Glasgow Central train station. It faces some major redevelopment as this Glasgow office space is transformed and modernised in order for further business use.
