Law firms hungry for White Plains office space
120 Bloomingdale Road has seemingly become the latest key destination for New York State law office space.
Three prestigious firms - including Cabanillas & Associates, P.C.; Fentin and Goldman, LLP; and the Law Offices of Joseph R. Miano - have collectively leased more than 23,600 square-foot (7,200 metre-square) of space within the White Plains-based Business Centre.
The 145,000 square-foot office space development and former Nestlé headquarters was acquired by Faros Properties and Caspi Development in Q4 2012.
Spread across six acres and four-storeys, the Centre is in the final stages of a large-scale renovation project that will see extensive fit outs, an elegant lobby, and a high spec, ultramodern conference space.
A number of unique breakout spaces are to be introduced in this final phase, including a state-of-the-art gym facility, upscale café, and private terraces for staff use.
“We are expanding our firm and were seeking an accessible property that could house our offices on one floor,” said Norman Wekselman, a spokesman for Cabanillas & Associates. “We’ve worked with Caspi Development in the past, and it was a great experience.”
“We are thrilled that we could continue to meet the space and growth needs of Cabanillas by facilitating their move from the Renaissance Corporate Center to 120 Bloomingdale Road,” said Joshua Caspi, Principal of Caspi Development. “Our goal is to continue to bring outstanding tenants to this iconic property.”
“This completely reimagined office space was designed to attract tenants and offer them a long-term home,” said Alexander Leventhal, co-founder and Managing Partner of Faros Properties. “The building offers such amenities as private terraces on the fourth floor, dedicated parking, and a soon-to-be open gourmet café.”
120 Bloomingdale Road offers an easily commutable location for both train and car travelers. The location also provides quick access to the downtown area of White Plains. Current tenants of the building include Oxman Tulis Kirkpatrick Whyatt & Geiger L.L.P., New York State, Nationwide Insurance, Byram Healthcare, and Keller Williams Realty. White Plains office space is highly-sought after.
