Quality is becoming Priority One for tenants of office space
A key factor for any business to consider when deciding on its ideal office space has always been the costs involved as well as the proximity to their strategic market. SOS>Search Office Space has researched this trend and found the results to show that the majority of tenants have amended their priorities over the last few years.
Our research showed that most companies are now aiming to “upgrade” their offices for a higher grade office than previously occupied as it is felt that this helps reflect the company’s professional image and their rank within their own industry. Prestigious addresses and grade A offices with a large range of amenities and state-of-the-art IT have all become new key factors for occupiers.
The CoreNet Global Summit in Berlin last week approached the subject of this new trend. Jonathan Weinbrenn, Director of UK Sales and William Brown, Corporate Account Director from SOS>Search Office Space were both present as official members.
Jonathan Weinbrenn comments: “We’ve noticed our clients are still focused on costs, location and technology available in the business centres however, businesses are more frequently requesting to be introduced to a higher standard of centre. To answer this increasing demand, business centre operators are fitting out their buildings to make them more appealing, either representing trendy workspaces or elegant corporate environments, all with superior business support services.”
The real estate decision is crucial to a business as it can often form the largest part of a company’s overhead costs. SOS>Search Office Space has been advising businesses for the last 15 years on their Real Estate decision making and is currently listing over 6000 offices worldwide. As the original global office broker we can advise regarding offices to let as well as relocation overseas. Businesses only need to call 0800 740 8080, email [email protected], or alternatively have a look at the offices to let available on www.searchofficespace.com.
