Richard Sexton MBE, joins Office Freedom as President in NYC
Office Freedom is pleased to announce that industry veteran Richard Sexton has joined the firm as President. In this capacity he will lead the growth of the firm in The Americas working alongside Senior Vice President, Daniel Soffer in the New York Office. We’re excited to welcome Richard, utilising his vast industry experience in the coming months.
Richard Sexton had the following to say about his move to Office Freedom, “I’m thrilled to be joining such a dynamic group led by Richard Smith. I’ve known Richard for many years and he is the pioneer of the burgeoning coworking and flexible workspace sector, with over 25 years experience. The unique Office Freedom platform allows me to service our clients globally with impartiality.”
Prior to joining Office Freedom, Sexton represented Knight Frank for 15 years in America. Originally in partnership with Grubb & Ellis he was responsible for brokering the relationship with Newmark & Co and led a team handling international cross border transactions between Newmark Knight Frank and Knight Frank. Richard previously held senior positions in companies including CBRE and Knight Frank.
Richard is currently the founder and CEO of Captain's Knock, a networking organization for business leaders passionate about sports which has raised more than $2.0 million for charity since 2008. Richard was awarded an MBE from the Queen for services to British & Commonwealth charities in New York.
