The Coworking Diaries #10 - Central Working Shoreditch
A workspace with personality
Need deskspace for you or your team but don't want to pay central London rates? Have to be in the hub of things but want to avoid the city suits? Then this City Fringe coworking hub could be right up your street! I spent the day working there to see what it's all about...
As the coworking centre is serviced, an on-site community management team is always on hand to greet clients and resolve any logistical problems. If the receptionist happens to be elsewhere, you can enter your name and who you're meeting on the iPad, which will send an alert to that person.
Teams can rent whole areas on the spaces' two floors. Other sections are reserved for hot desking - perfect for freelancers or remote workers who don't need a fixed spot.
Everything is included in the monthly cost, such as printing resources and the use of kitchen and breakout facilities.
An outdoor space offers a suntrap in which to eat lunch and work in.
The outdoor spot is also a great place to meet and socialise with coworkers.
You can eat in one of the numerous breakout areas, or at your desk if you'd prefer. Either way, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to make a tasty lunch, and tea & coffee is free.
