There is a regular bus service which runs throughout the city, and out to surrounding areas, on an efficient and regular timetable. Marseille is very close by and can be reached by bus. As a small city, Aix-en-Provence does not have its own airport, but the Marseille Province Airport is just 20km away, and easily reached by bus.
