The county is full of popular areas of historical and cultural interest such as Ab Kettleby, Ashby Castle, Belvoir Castle, Beacon Hill, Mallory Park, the National Space Centre and Foxton Locks. Places like Melton Carnegie Museum are significant landmarks in the area as are Harborough Museum and the heritage trains at Great Central Railway.
