Goswell Road is in the borough of Islington in London and is a mostly commercial area with office space, retail units and the main campus of City University located here. The road was at the centre of a tragedy in 1940 when the Dame Alice Owen’s School building, where 150 people were sheltering, was hit by a bomb, killing most of those sheltering inside.
