Limehouse rests on the bank of the river Thames, in Tower Hamlets. It is well connected to the rest of London thanks to the DLR, and has a glossy appeal which makes it an ideal location for an office. Limehouse became a significant port in the medieval times, and its infrastructure was redeveloped more recently, leading to more homes, business, employment and tourism.
Setting up your business here
Limehouse is home to a range of businesses from all industries, including smaller start-ups and larger, more established corporations. This wide range of ventures creates a great business community to be involved in, as well as excellent networking opportunities.
Culture and Entertainment
There are plenty of reasons to visit Limehouse. If you are looking for something historical, a visit to St Anne’s is always recommended. One of a number of restored churches in the East End, St Anne’s provides a look at beautiful architecture as well as the Gray and Davison organ from the Great Exhibition of 1851.
If a night out is on the cards, it must include Jamboree, an independent live music venue which features an eclectic programme of events and music including folk, jazz, Mediterranean and Celtic, as well as plenty of dancing.
Rajboy Indian Restaurant is popular with local companies and visitors alike. An exotic fish tank sets the scene and the kitchen serves classic regional Indian cuisine.
For those who prefer less spicy food in a traditional atmosphere, La Figa Restaurant is a bright and airy Italian eatery serving a traditional menu of pastas, risottos and meat dishes. A lovely outdoor seating area occupies a sunny terrace with a fountain.
