Part of the London borough of Tower Hamlets, Mile End has a rich history that dates back many centuries. Mile End is home to a number of educational facilities as well as attractions and historical sites. The area encompasses Mile End Road, which is an ancient trade route as well as the Green Bridge, which enables Mile End Park to pass over Mile End Road. In addition to offering a range of facilities, such as its transport links, Mile End is within easy reach of a range of places of interest, including the Tower Hamlet Cemetery Park, the V& A Museum of Childhood, and Victoria Park.
