Strand is a well-known London street situated in the Holborn area in the City of Westminster. Since the early 12th century, Strand has been famous for the gorgeous mansions, towering palaces, and stunning townhouses that were located in the area. Most of the beautiful buildings had landings that opened directly on to the River Thames, running a stone’s throw away from the street. Many of the townhouses have now been converted into executive corporate spaces and serviced offices, making this an excellent location to do business in. Strand is home to many historic attractions such as the Royal Courts of Justice, Middle Temple Hall and Temple Church.

The area is home to prominent retail outlets, one of them being Ede & Ravenscroft, specialists in bespoke clothing and holders of three royal warrants. The Old Curiosity Shop also occupies retail space in the area and is world renowned for its handmade shoes. Transport Information

The closest station on the underground network is Temple tube station with access to the Circle and District lines. Holborn and Covent Garden tube stations also service the area, providing access to the Central and Piccadilly lines. Both these stations are within walking distance of Strand. Blackfriars and City Thameslink stations provide access to the mainline railway network. Numerous road and bus routes also serve the area, making it extremely convenient to reach other parts of the city.
