Dollis Hill is a thriving and ethnically diverse residential area in the north west of London which lies in close proximity to Willesden, in the London Borough of Brent. Although an area in its own right, Dollis Hill is often referred to as being part of Willesden, especially by the press. The area itself consists of Gladstone Park on the streets surrounding it. Famous residents of the area included Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone, broadcaster and authors Eric Simms and Mark Twain who stayed in the Dollis Hill House in the summer of 1900. The area boasts excellent public road transport which make it the perfect location for commuters as well as businesses.

Setting up your business here

Dollis Hill and its surrounding areas are frequented by residents, visitors and workers. The excellent amenities in the area, including restaurants, fitness centres and shops provide ideal post-work entertainment opportunities. The industries in and around the area vary from e-commerce and business consulting through to manufacturing and graphic design. There are a number of serviced offices in the area with excellent facilities that are already home to a number of businesses, including R J Business Consulting and Elite Creations. This growing business environment is thanks to the excellent rail and road links in and around the area bringing commuters, as well as visitors to Dollis Hill.

Things to do in Dollis Hill

Thanks to the excellent variety of entertainment that is available in the area, you will quite easily find something to suit your needs. If you are heading out for a bite to eat during your lunch hour then Sushi-Say, a family run Japanese restaurant, will offer you a delicious menu. For an evening meal, perhaps with the client, The Queensbury, a Gastro pub serving seasonal British cuisine will be enough to seal any deal. If you are planning an evening of socialising with colleagues then head down to Tony’s bar or T-Bar on High Road and enjoying a relaxing beer, a fine wine or a vibrant cocktail before heading to Highlight, a local comedy club.
