Harlesden is a part of the borough of Brent and is one of the most popular locations in London for a taste of the Caribbean. Harlesden began life as a little village but when the railway line was built, development followed. A number of modern industries replaced the farmlands of old, including one of the biggest industrial estates in the world at Park Royal. Harlesden has a largely multi-cultural population and boasts sights like the Music House for Children and the PM Gallery and House.

The bus service in Harlesden is very good, as is the taxi availability in the area. For overground rail travellers, the Acton mainline railway station is within easy reach. The London underground can be accessed from both Harlesden and Willesden Junction tube stations.
