Queen s Park is an area of North West London. Queen’s Park Rangers F.C. was founded in this area, but is now based in Shepherd’s Bush. Queen’s Park lies between Kilburn, and Kensal Green and was developed from 1875 and named to honour Queen Victoria. The area is known for its spacious green parks and close proximity to Central London. There are many amenities in the vicinity, including banks, convenience stores, libraries, retail outlets, restaurants and bars, making this an ideal location in which to host business meetings or meet friends after work.

Two annual festivals are held at Queen s Park. Queen’s Parks Day, is held in September, and offers a funfair, stalls for local community groups and shops, various entertainments, including acrobats and bird of prey displays, and live music hosted by the Rhythm Studio. Queen’s Park Book Festival, held in May, boasts national and international writers as part of the growing book festival movement across England. Restaurants and bars are plentiful in the vicinity, with Caldo’s Bar & Kitchen being a popular choice amongst the Spanish community, as well as being frequented by locals and professionals. Hugo’s, on Lonsdale Road, affords café-goers spacious surroundings and homemade food. The Alice House is a trendy bar, offering a wide selection of beers and spirits, whilst The Salusbury Pub & Dining Room provides an intimate setting in which to enjoy a glass of wine alongside some hearty food.
