Kennington is a district of London located on the southern side of the River Thames within the Borough of Lambeth. The area is home to one of London’s best-known cricket grounds in the Kia Oval, as well as prominent attractions such as the Imperial War Museum and the popular and spacious Kennington Park. Having existed as a settlement since at least the 11th century, Kennington is an historic district within south London and a place packed with modern developments, as well as housing stock dating back as far as the mid-1700s.
