W13 is one of several areas in the Western and Paddington postcode district of London. While W1 originates more towards Central London, W13 is located in the West London area of Ealing. Historically a rural village area, the entire postcode district became a prominent location for local business with the opening of its main railway station in 1838. Since then, the locality has been home to a wide variety of businesses, attracting hordes of visitors to the area every day. The Musical Museum is a well known attraction in the vicinity, where you can experience different musical instruments from different eras. The Kew Bridge Steam Museum is another popular sight, especially for families with children.
