Cheltenham is a town in the county of Gloucestershire in the south-west of England. The town takes its name from a small river called the Chelt, which runs into the River Severn and eventually into the Bristol Channel. Cheltenham became a popular spa town and retreat for holidaymakers from the early 18th century after the discovery of its mineral spring waters. The town now has a variety of well-established industries and is home to the British Government’s Communications Headquarters. Cheltenham is also famous for hosting a broad range of very well-attended festivals focussing variously on music, food and drink, literature and science. The town centre has a number of pleasant parks and open spaces, such as those at Imperial Square and Montpellier Gardens. Plus Cheltenham is home to the University of Gloucestershire, one of the preeminent higher education institutions in the region.
Cheltenham is very well connected to its neighbouring city of Gloucester and to other major cities and towns nearby, including Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford, Swindon and London. Among the largest office space occupiers in the town are financial service companies like the Chelsea Building Society and Endsleigh Insurance, which has its headquarters Cheltenham. Other major local employers include Zurich Financial Services, UCAS (the Universities & Colleges Admissions Service) and GE Aviation. The British Government’s Communications Headquarters occupies a purpose-built development referred to as ‘the Doughnut’ on the outskirts of the town.
We offer the following office types & services:
Among the more outstanding attractions anywhere in Gloucestershire is the Cheltenham Racecourse, and the region boasts several amazing stately homes well worth visiting, not least Hidcote Manor and Snowshill Manor. Central Cheltenham is home to the Everyman Theatre, a very highly regarded cultural destination and the Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum, which attracts visitors throughout the year. Cheltenham is a vibrant place to be at any time of the year but during festivals the town really comes to life. The various music festivals alone draw thousands of visitors and dozens of world-renowned performers to Cheltenham every year. There are also some excellent places to eat out in Cheltenham and nowhere better than Le Champignon Sauvage, which boasts two coveted Michelin stars. Other high calibre eateries in the area include the Daffodil, the Montpellier Brasserie and Flynn’s Bar & Brasserie. Cheltenham is also extremely accommodating when it comes to great bars and pubs, with any list of the best likely to include the Montpellier Wine Bar, Tailors and the Kemble.
Prices typically are all-inclusive of utilities costs, broadband, meeting room access, and are exempt from business rates (package varies per office).
