About Crystal Palace

Located in South London, Crystal Palace is a residential, upcoming commercial area that benefits from its close proximity to Charing Cross Station. Crystal Palace still retains much of its Victorian architecture and is named after the former local landmark, the Crystal Palace, which stood from 1854 to 1936, to be replaced by Crystal Palace Park shortly after. Within the area known as the “Crystal Palace Triangle” is an expanse holding a number of restaurants, independent shops, galleries and other businesses bordered by Westow Street, Westow Hill and Church Road. Arthur Conan Coyle was a regular visitor to the area which was also the setting for a number of TV and film scenes including The Italian Job and Our Mother’s House.

Setting up your business here

Crystal Palace is home to many industries from e-commerce and design to finance. Companies such as Ripplenet and Vista Finance occupy some of the many serviced offices in the area and the excellent business and social scenes mean that you are never far from a networking opportunity. As well as the excellent office spaces that are available, you will also have a variety of restaurants and shops on your front door; suitable for business meetings and post-work drinks. Crystal Palace and its surrounding areas are well served by road and cycle routes as well as a number of secure car parks. More recently, rail travel has seen a rebirth in Crystal Palace, with additional London Overground services stopping at the local station. The town saw a major station redevelopment in 2012 and there are currently a number of proposals to extend the Croydon Tramlink service to the railway and bus stations.
