The town of Worcester Park lies within Greater London as well as the neighbouring County of Surrey. A portion of the town is located within the London Borough of Sutton, whereas the remaining portion is located within the Borough of Epsom and Ewell in Surrey. The 4th Earl of Worcester was given the responsibility of managing the Great Park in the 17th century. Thereafter, the entire surrounding region was named after him. Worcester Park is famous for a New England style housing development known as The Hamptons. Residences here are much sought after and command higher than average prices for the region.
