Enjoying an enviable location in the Chiltern Hills, the town is part of the London Commuter Belt and offers good transport links. There are two distinct parts to this town, the first being the historic Old Amersham with its historical structures and old world charm. The other part is Amersham on the Hill, which evolved from the railway station in the early part of the last century.
