A deeply historic, cultural, and fascinating county, Kent is home to many unique towns and cities, each of which has its own distinct character. One of the Home Counties, Kent is bordered by Greater London, Surrey and East Sussex. It also acts as a gateway to France and Europe thanks to its connections with the Channel Tunnel and its ferry ports. Home to the White Cliffs of Dover as well as many other famous sites and places of interest, Kent has plenty to offer in terms of attractions, from family attractions to cultural and historical ones. The county also has a rich industrial history, with roots in a number of different industry sectors. With its variety of gardens and orchards, Kent has earned the nickname the ’Garden of England’.
