It is home to many famous and much visited landmarks, including Canterbury Cathedral, the ruins of St Augustine’s Abbey, Canterbury Castle, and the Museum of Canterbury, with its charming Rupert Bear Museum. Entertainment And Dining Out

A diverse array of entertainment can be enjoyed in Canterbury. You can enjoy theatre and live performances at the popular Marlowe Theatre or head to the Gubenkian Theatre for great shows as well as cinema. Whitstable and Herne Bay are also within the district of Canterbury so a day at the beach in the summer or walks in the winter are options. If you enjoy going out for meals, you will find a great choice of eateries within easy reach. Enjoy contemporary English dishes at Kathton House or check out the great Mediterranean options at Cucina Caraccio. Authentic Italian cuisine is served up at the highly rated Pinocchios Italian Restaurant while Raj Venue offers fiery Indian and Nepalese dishes.
