Dorking is located in Surrey, England and is a historical market town. It was once famous for its wheat, cattle and poultry markets, which were among the biggest in the region. The stagecoaches riding up and down the streets of Dorking were a popular sight and attraction in the area. The opening of the railway in the mid 1800s replaced the stagecoaches and helped to urbanise the area considerably. Leith Hill is the highest point in the town and offers excellent views from the lookout points. The Dorking Museum and Juniper Hall Field Centre are popular attractions in the vicinity. Dorking is also home to Denbies Vineyard, the biggest vineyard in the UK.

Business Information

High Street, South Street and West Street are the three main commercial centres in Dorking. These house numerous serviced offices rented by businesses such as solicitors, real estate agents, marketing companies, IT support firms, and software developers. The area is extremely famous for its specialist antique stores, attracting hordes of shoppers to the region. Dorking is served by three active railway stations. Dorking station provides access to train services on the South West Line terminating at London Waterloo. Dorking Deepdene and Dorking West stations provide access to services on the Redhill North Downs Line. Numerous bus routes provide connectivity to several destinations between Dorking and London Kingston.
