Burgess Hill is a town in the county of West Sussex located on the border of the South Downs National Park. One of the most populated parishes in the area, Burgess Hill sits on the edge of East and West Sussex and was the site of one of the biggest lamb and sheep fairs in the country until the early 20th century. In the mid-1970s, the town saw a stage of rapid development including the construction of a number of business centres and entertainment venues.

Burgess Hill has four major business parks that are home to over 200 companies including accountants, financial advisors, furniture manufacturers, graphic design firms and software development companies. There are many interior decoration companies, lawyers, insurance agencies, and advertising agencies that have office space in Burgess Hill. The A23 and A273 are the main trunk roads that run in and around Burgess Hill while the A272 takes commuters towards Uckfield. Burgess Hill railway station is the town’s link to Brighton & Hove and Haywards Heath while Wivelsfield Railway Station lies on the northern side, connecting Burgess Hill to London via the East Coastway Line. Shoreham Airport is the closest air travel link to Burgess Hill with London Gatwick also within easy reach.
