Cleveland is a suburb of Brisbane, the capital city of the Australian state of Queensland. It is located 25 km (15 miles) south-east of Brisbane. Cleveland is the council seat for the Redland City local government. The suburb is a mixture of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. Cleveland is on the water and has excellent access to Brisbane’s ferry services. There are several historical buildings located in the suburb, dating back two centuries. They include the Cleveland Lighthouse, the Grandview Hotel in North Street, the old courthouse in Paxton Street, and Ormiston House.

Getting to the suburb by plane is easy, as it is 30 km (18 miles) from Brisbane International Airport. Cleveland is serviced by its own railway station, providing access to the Citytrain services to Brisbane. By car, the area is reachable through Bloomfield Street and Finucane Road. Cleveland is about fifty minutes drive from Brisbane Central Business District.
