essensys Customer Conference 2011

On the 6th October 2011, essensys celebrated its fifth anniversary with a conference and boat party for existing clients and industry associates. The conference was also an opportunity to introduce their unique customer lifecycle management software – JEFF.

Before we delve into the logistics of JEFF, let’s take some time to discover the roots of essensys, which has become the UK’s leading provider of IT and Telecoms for flexible workspaces.

Founded in 2006 by Mark Furness, essensys was developed as a solution to ICT problems within the . The vision was to deliver better ICT solutions in a simple, reliable and flexible way – thus making the clients’ life easier and hassle free.

essensys has come a long way in a short amount of time, thanks to their dedicated team who are passionate about delivering quality service and support. This personal approach shone through at the conference, as Mark Furness, CEO, introduced the core team members to explain, in depth, the values of the company, its development and vision of the future – and this is where JEFF comes to the forefront.

In simple terms, JEFF is described as ‘the technical solution for managed workspaces’. The management service was introduced by Bryn Sadler, Chief Technical Officer for essensys, who’s impressive background in engineering, design and product management left the audience safe in the knowledge that JEFF is a truly revolutionary way to deliver ICT solutions. Mr Sadler proceeded to explain how this fully automated management tool allows tenants and clients to remotely manage their individual ICT requirements. The system also allows access to billing and reporting systems, which makes life far simpler for clients.

JEFF allows an insight into the future of ICT solutions, and as essensys goes from strength to strength, it’s no wonder that clients such as Avanta, Targetspace and i2 Office are on board.

Next on the agenda at the conference was an award ceremony to celebrate achievements within the serviced office sector. The first award for ‘Fastest Growing Serviced Operator’ went to Philip Grace of i2 Office, followed by the ‘Special Award’ going to Tony Holdich of Inspire Bradford Business Park, for their work with start-up businesses.

Last up to talk ‘business’ was John Pluthero, Chairman of essensys, and Chief Executive Office of Cable&Wireless Worldwide. Mr Pluthero spoke of his pride concerning essensys’ developments as a company, and its breakthrough concepts for the serviced office sector.

The audience was then treated to a ‘Funny Business’ talk from comedian and businessman, Marc Hogan. This inspiring talk was packed with jokes and gags, but also had a serious business message - a great end to an informative and inspiring conference. The only thing left was the Thames boat party, which promised dinner and dancing – and the Search Office Space Marketing Department can assure you that essensys certainly delivered!

would like to take this opportunity to wish essensys the best of luck for the future, and congratulate the provider on its management tool, JEFF - although companies like essensys don’t need luck, as their hard work and dedication is a testament to the industry, and proves they are already leagues ahead of the game.
