Galliford Try gain 3 major contracts for office space in London and Warwickshire
Businesses wishing to rent office space in London will be glad to hear that housebuilding and construction group, Galliford Try Plc, have been commissioned to create 2 additional office complexes, as well as a further site in the Midlands.
These contracts combined amount to the sum of £49.4 million, as well as much publicity for the company, who have been selected to construct a massive 100,000 square feet of class A office space in St James’ Park. This £27 million project has been given to the company by Green Property UK Ltd.
In addition, Galliford Try have been selected by Royal London Mutual Insurance to provide refurbishment worth £8.9 million to 6,500 square metres of office spaceto rent in Wimpole Street, London.
In addition to Central London office space, Galliford Try has been commissioned by Aviva Investors and Citycourt Estates to build a new Warwickshire Shopping Park near Coventry. Costing around £13.5 million, the project will contain 24 retail units and community spaces. It is due to be finished in January 2013 and has already seen interest from Boots, Asda and Marks & Spencer.
Galliford Try are understandably excited about their latest achievements, and Greg Fitzgerald, Chief Executive of the company, says, “We are delighted to have won such significant contracts in the commercial sector. The London office sector remains an important market for us, while the Warwickshire Shopping Park is yet another landmark project for Galliford Try in the Midlands region.”
