July, Week 2 - Jonathan Wienbrenn for KCC
Swift Service for KCC
Client: KCC
Location: Victoria, London
Background
When leading ground engineering specialist KCC urgently needed serviced offices in London’s Victoria, Search Office Space were able to complete the deal in only six days.
Keller Geotechnique are working on the £700 million refit of Victoria Station and were asked to quit their offices. They urgently needed space for 23 staff members.
The new site had to be near to the station, short term and fully serviced. Jonathan Weinbrenn accepted the challenge. “I got the initial call at 11:15am on a Friday and by 1pm their team was out viewing in Victoria. They looked at three locations and decided upon Regus, Portland House. I put some financial proposals together, negotiated on their behalf with the landlord and by Wednesday the deal was done and Keller could start to move in. All in all the whole process took less than a week.”
As the tallest building in the area, Portland House stands out as a landmark with stunning panoramic views over London and Victoria. It was ideal for Keller Geotechnique’s requirements.
“The reason we were able to help Keller Geotechnique so effectively,” explains Jonathan, “is because of our long experience in the business – almost 20 years. This meant I knew who to contact and what deal to suggest. It was this knowledge which helped me move things along so quickly.
