London office rent rise
A report by agents EA Shaw shows that available office space in the City of London
decreased in the second quarter of 2012. The effect of the squeeze was to see .an
increase in office rents over the same period.
The results of the survey chime in with the experience of leading office broker
Search Office Space where a spokesperson commented that; “we have noticed
demand is continuing for quality serviced office space in the City of London. Part of
the reason for this is that more and more businesses are coming to realise the
advantages that temporary office space arrangements have to offer.”
These advantages include obtaining access to prestigious premises with long leases
and the latest facilities without getting locked into a long term, financial commitment.
