Mayfair demand continues to increase

Leading flexible workspace provider Avanta Managed Offices Ltd reveals 65% pre let of new Mayfair business centre.

The property – in prestigious Hanover Square – boasts over 9,000 sq ft of premium office space in an extensively refurbished 20th century building.

A spokesman for Avanta revealed that interest has been significant in this property, even before the centre opened, with over 40 viewings completed by the end of July and a total pre let of 65%. This correlates with recent figures from The Guardian that mark an increase in requests for Mayfair property from turbulent European markets such as Greece, France and Spain of 50%, 10% and 9% respectively.

The centre, which is set to open in September 2012, becomes Avanta’s 18th in their London portfolio following an agreement with previous owners Swan Walk in July. The deal adds to Avanta’s current provision of 12,000 sq ft of space around Hanover Square, bringing their global portfolio to a total of 660,000 sq ft.

Avanta CEO Alan Pepper commented: “Hanover Square is in the heart of Mayfair and the West End and benefits from being close to a number of key transport links. As such, it is an ideal location for small and growing businesses that need to be in this vibrant and creative part of the capital.

Services at this centre include comprehensive administrative support and client care, as well as a state-of-the-art IT and communications infrastructure and that all-important W1 postcode.

Such interest in high-end office space denotes the value that a desirable address can add to companies of all sizes.
