MoFo become the first tenants in one of Manhattan’s greatest business centers

Manhattan based Law Company, MoFo have become the first tenants to pre-lease office space in a chic, mirror-fronted business center in Manhattan, New York.

The property which is currently under construction, is located at 250 West 55th Street and comprises of 40 storeys, totalling around 1million sq ft of rentable office space. The environmentally friendly property is being developed by Boston Properties Inc and the completion year is expected to be 2015.

US architecture firm, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) designed the building to interact with Manhattan’s ever changing sky conditions. On completion, the contemporary, stream-lined tower, made from semi-reflective, low iron, vision-glass will be an attractive addition to New York’s skyline.

Zuckerman, Chairman and CEO of Boston Properties said, “We are pleased to announce the resumption of development of 250 West 55th Street, which we believe, upon its completion, will be considered among the elite office buildings in Manhattan. We are, furthermore, delighted that the prestigious law firm of Morrison & Foerster has selected 250 West 55th Street for its new state-of-the-art home. Our decision to proceed with construction reflects the City’s improving overall economy and the office market in particular.”
