Office Space Treehouses
Today whilst eating my lunch on the wall outside the SOS office in the lovely sunshine I started to think how great it would be to work outside, so I started to look into Treehouse office spaces.
On the inhabitat.com website, I found a beautifully designed office space treehouse with a Tudor design, located in the Shropshire countryside. The whole building is built around a tree and you can lean against the trunk in the kitchen area.
Other treehouse offices I came across include circular treehouse pods designed by Shelterness, and a tree top office in Washington, which has a green sustainable roof and beautiful glass walls.
According to treehousedesign.com I found that 10% of British workers would like to work from a park or their garden. And who wouldn’t after seeing some of the amazing treehouse office space designs!
I also found that one US product development company moved their office space into a treehouse in 2006. George M Davidson, Founder and Chief Executive of the company said: “Creative use of space not only inspires worker creativity but also motivates employees.” He went on to add that he never wanted to “get bored or stale staring at a computer screen for hours.”
