Q&A with i2 Offices 23 Hanover Square

It's finally December and the Christmas feeling is in the air! We took a moment to interview Mel Schembri, centre manager of the Search Office Space Business Centre of the Month winners; i2 offices at 23 Hanover Square, about what their fantastic office in Mayfair has to offer.

What are the three best features of this office?

We get complimented on our stunning, modern reception and 12 meeting rooms, the high quality of the fit out and the helpfulness of the team onsite.


What perks does this business centre offer in terms of location?

Hanover Square is a fantastic area for transport links, shopping, good bars, restaurants, pubs and convenient for travelling to and from the airports which is great for clients who travel a lot for work

What industries do the tenants you have work in, and how does this centre work for their needs?

Being Mayfair this building hosts a variety of different businesses but we seem to attract law firms, property businesses, anything under the umbrella of finance, headhunting/recruitment firms and some tech businesses. We’re popular due to the abundance of good quality communal space, wide corridors, impressive reception and our online booking system/availability for the 12 meeting rooms means clients can more often than not get the room they want for the time they require it.


What have you launched new for this year?

An exciting expansion has seen us grow this year from 2 floors to 7 floors with the addition of a larger reception space, shower facilities, bike racks and over 75,000 sqft of office and meeting room space

What sets you apart from other business centres?

We make it easy for clients to use us and have a great experience by focusing on good quality robust IT, excellent customer service and ensuring we are giving our clients good value for money.


What changes and developments do you see for the centre in the future?

We are building a larger reception area with new access control gates for added security and a larger business lounge which will mean an improved and more secure experience for our clients. We have a 1GIG line coming into the building and additional technology based products coming up to support our clients growth and use of technology. We are also installing a dedicated client access comms room with lockable cabinets so clients can house their kit and have access to it more easily.

And, lastly, for you, what do you like the most about your job?

In my job it is a privilege to meet so many different businesses and hear about their plans for the future. It’s been an interesting few years and I’m always amazed at the creativity of people in taking their businesses forward. I love working in this area and getting to work with so many great people. I believe our product is the best that I have seen in 10 years in the industry.
