Rising office demand in the City Of London

Leading office space consultant Search Office Space  has seen a steady rise in the demand for service office space in the City of London over the run up to the Olympics.  (see graph).

Precise reasons for the growth are hard to isolate, but going on evidence from the sales force it seems that London-based small to medium businesses (SMEs) are not being intimidated by possible disruption from the Olympics.  They are taking advantage of the opportunities to move into some quality locations.

Demand and lead volume are also  both growing  despite the current economic  climate. Traditionally difficult economic times tend to favour the serviced office sector as companies tend to opt for more flexible and more risk free office space.
